HEAT AND WATER!!! WHOOP-DE-HOO!

Just had a plumber in today, second one! First one was for the leak dripping from the dining room ceiling and while here, he was supposed to fix the heating, he said he had, he hadn't! As when I switched it off, it wouldn't come back on again!


Can't believe it, this guy really fixed everything!.......WE HAVE HEAT!!!... WE HAVE HOT WATER!!!... WE HAVE A NEW SHOWER!!!... WE HAVE LIFT OFF!!!!

I celebrated (after the plumber had gone of course) by being the first to Christen our new shower. Wow, almost better than sex (notice I said - almost!).


I have also had the heating on for about two hours just for the fun of it!

Another two weeks and I will have my new carpet, then at last I can give a big sigh of relief that most of the major jobs are done before Christmas.

It's great not having to cart kettlefuls of boiling water up the stairs to fill the sink or bath so we can have a wash. I wouldn't be surprised if my kettle packs up now but that's nothing compared to the other stuff I have had to put up with.
