YEY, HOLIDAY! BOO, HUSBAND!

Beach YEY, HOLIDAY!......THE WHOOPEE BIT.

Hi, everyone,
Just to let you know I will be taking a break from blogging, (O.K, which of you just shouted 'Hooray'? Oh, all of you, Sigh!) me and little'un are off to Somerset to spend a week with my big Brother at his home in a sleepy little village near the river Parret, it's gorgeous down there, nothing like where we live. The village only has the one pub and a little post office, it's idyllic. Yipeeeeeeee!

Thumbs Down BOO, HUSBAND!.......THE RANT AND RAVE BIT (OR LOT!).

Hubs won't be coming, he doesn't particularly get on with my Brother, or even try for that matter! Don't understand why, that's just the way he is, it's got a little better over the eleven years we have been married though, at least Hubs doesn't just go and sit in the bedroom (on the rare occasion my Brother visits) until he has gone, like he used to!!!! Ignorant Git!!!

I actually believed Hubs.....

(I fall for this kind of thing over and over, nights out, days out, family or friends parties/weddings, every bloody time!! Most of these times, me and little'un get ready and are sat waiting to go, when........."You don't mind if we don't go do you? I'm not in the mood" (may I state at this point that life would not be worth living if I said that I did mind!). Arrrgh! he's done it again, little'un bursts into tears, sometimes I do too. I'm soooo bleedin' stupid but he actually sounds believible when he makes the suggestion in the first place! I sometimes feel like I am a one parent family! It's more often than not, that it's just me and little'un doing things and going places together).

Anyway........

He said to look for a B&B and he would come with us for the first week and me and little'un could then go to Bruvs and stay a bit longer. I kept asking and asking over a number of weeks, what dates to enquire about, he kept putting me off saying he needed to speak to work about it but kept forgetting. Hmmm, do you think he doesn't really want to go? Then finally, last Thursday (26th July), he said "We can go 1st to 7th August". Yahoo!
Guess what? Everywhere is fully booked!
Seeing my pouting lips, scowl and hearing me swearing and banging about in the kitchen, he then said "How about just the weekend then?" Praise be to the internet, I finally found a B&B that had room, think he didn't expect me to at such short notice because..... it was then..... "We can't really afford a holiday this year due to you not having a job!" So it's my fault!.

A WEEKEND in Somerset as an annual holiday and we can't even afford that!!!!!
Shame on me! I'm such a terrible person for having a mental breakdown, losing my job and causing all our money problems. (Bet you didn't know that did you? I've got it in writing off my Doctor, I'm not just your normal sort of daft, I'm an official looney! Actually he just states 'debility' on my sick notes but I know that that is a secret Doctor's word for 'insanity'!) Guess I shall have to stop splashing out on all my 'new' clothes from charity shops. Can't cut down on anything else though as I don't go to the hairdressers, don't have manicures or sunbed treatments, don't have evenings out with friends, mind you, I did have a back and shoulder massage once, but that doesn't count as it was a Birthday present from my Stepdaughter. Shame on me for wanting us to have an annual holiday as a family!! Must admit though, we did go to Disneyworld in Florida as a family last year, but I've not heard the last of it since - how much it had cost! Oh, and two family holidays previously to Mallorca (when I had a job).
I have told him, If he would stay at my Brothers, it would only cost transport and contribution to the food. But Mr Antisocial won't have any of that. Hubby's name? Ebby Neeza Antysoshul.

Anyway, stuff him!

Me and little'un are going, and we are going to have a bloody fantastic time! Just hope he remembers to feed our zoo of pets while I'm away, I'll have to leave post-its all round the house to remind him! May not bother coming back at all!!!!

Winge, winge, winge, moan, moan, moan.
That's it for now.

From now on, I hereby shall be referring to Hubby as 'Neeza'.

From one p****d off desperately in need of a break, wife (to whom divorce is looking more and more tempting!).

Well if you are going to have a long weekend holiday in wonderful England, then you can't get much better than lovely Somerset and I hope you have been practicing the accent... I hear that the accent sounds even better if you talk whilst having a blade of straw sticking out of the side of your mouth (I'm allowed to say that as I come from Wiltshire which is equally amusing).

I'm sure you will have a super break. See, it's already started well, with your husband staying at home :)

Best wishes ~ Graham :D

I hope you have a great time with those that you want to be with. You need the break and I guess even the break from 'neeza' (LOL) may do you good.

Remembering that Somerset is cider country it may turn out to be even better than you think.
Get your probs bhind you for a bit and come back refreshed.

ps. What are we all going to do while you're gone? It wasn't me that cheered!

Stupid husbands. Husbands suck! They suck significantly. Life would be so much better without those DAMNED husbands!

Suppose there are good ones out there, it's just mine that sucks!

Just what the Doctor ordered, (actually, he didn't). Pity really, I wouldn't mind THAT kind of prescription!!
I'll be back before you know it, hopefully with funnier posts. Seem to have bloggers block at the mo, that's why I need a break, fresh ideas and the like.
Luv.
