8 THINGS.......... I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT.
1. MY FAMILY..........Bit obsessive I know, but.......Death to anyone who hurts them!!!!!
2. NATURE..........Love it, love it, love it! I will plant, grow and care for anything, I will rescue any animal, bird and even insects (YUK!) that may be in distress. Love sitting watching bats swooping over the garden at dusk and the foxes on our close in the early hours.
3. THE SEASONS........Autumn is my all time favourite, clean, cold, crisp and colourful.
4. MY HOME.........I NEED it to be comfy, warm, friendly and open to all who wish to visit. My house is usually filled with all the local children in the area.
5. FOOD.........I have this great urge to feed everyone, I insist no-one can visit my home without going away fed, if not a full blown hot meal then at least some kind of nibbles.
6. TEA........I can't go too long without a nice cup of tea.
7. CIGARETTES.......I can't go too long without a cigarette either!!!!!
8. BLOGGING.........All my virtual friends keep me going rain or shine, love you all!
8 THINGS.......... I WANT TO DO BEFORE I DIE.
1. See Little'un grown up, healthy and happy.
2. Travel more and see places I didn't think I ever would.
3. Time travel, so I can go back and amend the mistakes I have made.
4. Be totally happy with/about myself.
5. Whale watch in Canada.
6. Conquer my fear of heights.
7. Learn to forgive and forget.
8. Win the Lottery!!!
8 THINGS.......... I SAY OFTEN.
1. "Oh, Bugger!" (Whenever I make a mistake or drop something!)
2. "Bum!" (Makes a change from No 1.)
3. "Yes" (Sometimes even when I don't want to, I'm too soft!)
4. "Arrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!" (Little too often!)
5. "Shut up!" (Little'un talks non stop from the moment she wakes and even in her sleep! Paddy the cockatiel talks and squawks non stop too, Squeaky the Guinea Pig takes after his name, the TV is constantly on even though no-one is watching it, Little'un plays 'High School Musical' on her CD player over and over and even though she sometimes has her earphones in, (so, as she says, I don't have to hear it) she sings along at full blast! Now you can understand No 4!)
6. "Yeah right!" (Sarcastically, when I don't really believe what has been said)
7. "Love You!" (To my family)
8. "Not now, I have a headache!" (He, he.)
8 BOOKS.......... I HAVE READ RECENTLY.
1. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
4. Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire
5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
6. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (Half way through) and then on to Deathly Hallows!
7. The Illustrated guide to Forensics (True Crime Scene Investigations).8. World famous True Ghost Stories.
8 SONGS.......... I COULD LISTEN TO OVER AND OVER.

8. Hmmmmm....
8 THINGS.......... THAT ATTRACT ME TO MY BEST FRIENDS.
2. A great sense of humour.
3. Dependability.
4. Understanding.
5. Patience.
6. Love.
7. That they like me.
8. A waterproof shoulder (for me to cry into).
8 THINGS.......... I HAVE LEARNED IN THE PAST YEAR.
1. If things can go wrong, they go wrong real big and all at the same time!
2. You can get over most things that life throws at you by laughing and making fun of it.
3. Some of these meme's can be really hard to complete!
4. Fish can survive for five hours out of water (well, one of mine did - see post '999 or 911')
5. There are hundreds and thousands of fantastic people and virtual friends out in the blogsphere. And I have found some good'uns already.
6. I can't put a Rowntree's fruit pastille in my mouth without chewing it (For all non UK, this is on a TV advert).
7. I don't listen to enough music, can't remember what they are called and who they are by! (See above section headed - 8 songs I can listen to over and over)
8. I can't bake a Birthday cake when I am drunk. Discovered in May of this year on my Step Daughter's Birthday, the cake in question became known in our family as the 'Autopsy cake' flat like a giant cookie, oozing melted buttercream mixed with strawberry jam as it was still hot from the oven, it looked disgusting, needless to say no one wanted a piece! (Even the dog refused it!)
8 PEOPLE.......... WHO SHOULD DO THIS MEME.
Anyone who wants to!

Ooh I love it! Your house sounds lovely! Also, ghost stories you say? Any good ones in the Eastern U.S. region?
Very nice, I enjoyed reading this one very much :). Hope all is well!
Excellent answers Azzi, surprised you ran out of steam on the music one!! Wasn't expecting that from a passionate smoking blogger!
Nice one Azzi!
Daszzle,
I have had the book since 1996 it's a bit dog-eared now, it's only a little soft back. Mainly English ghost stories. But had a quick flick through the book again.
Couldn't find Eastern US specifically but the ones that could possibly be referenced, of true American ghost stories, in a library are.......
1817 - Tennessee - The Bell Witch.
1848 - Hydesville, Nr Rochester, New York - The Hydesville Haunting.
1850 - Stratford, Connecticut - The Phelps Case.
1878 - Amherst, Nova Scotia - The Esther Cox Case.
1889 - Clarendon, Quebec - The Dagg Poltergeist.
:)
