LAUGHING IN THE FACE OF DANGER!

Is it just me and my Sister that are utterly mental, or does anyone else out there in the blogsphere break into a fit of giggles when faced with mortal danger?

Take my previous post for example, why on earth did I laugh after getting zapped with electricity?

This kind of insane family trait has happened before with the both of us.
But the best one was....
One year on holiday in Florida USA we went to Wet'n'Wild the water park and thought it would be great fun to not bother with the rubber tyres everyone else had in the wave pool because we are pretty good swimmers (or so we thought!). I think we both expected it to be nice, gentle waves. What a shock we got! It was like the parting of the Red Sea, the water disappeared from underneath us and we were stood on the bottom of the pool with walls of water towering over us on every side, then the next minute a tidal wave crashed down on us, everyone else was bobbing quite happily on their tyres on the surface while we were literally drowning beneath them, we couldn't surface for all the tyres with legs dangling over the sides, if we did break surface we were getting kicked from every angle. So, what did we do? The pair of us, instead of taking in as much air as we could when we surfaced, just looked at each other and burst out laughing! Then it would start all over again!!!
The lifeguard just sat there watching us with a big grin on his face, obviously, due to our hysterics, he thought we were having a fantastic time.
I personally was absolutely terrified I was going to drown if it carried on much longer and it was only after we got out of the pool, and sat talking that we discovered that, while I thought my Sister was laughing with enjoyment, she was experiencing exactly the same fear as me and had thought exactly the same about me due to my laughter. We still have a giggle about that holiday now and how close to danger we actually were, yet for some reason the both of us could not stop laughing?
Has anything like this happened to you or are we just weird?????
