SOMERSET HERE I COME!!!

WEDNESDAY 7th NOVEMBER (A.M.)
Well guys, I'm off to Somerset again first thing tomorrow morning, just until next Monday. Really looking forward to seeing Bridgwater Carnival, got my digital camera ready and charging my video as I type.

Little'un is dead excited, so much so, that she asked to stay off school today so she could help me pack! I told her it would only
take me about half an hour then the rest of the day she would be bored so she decided to go to school after all (Phew!).

According to Neeza, (I ask him daily!) he is still coming with us but going off past form, it has been known for him to change his mind on the day of departure, so until he is actually on the coach
tomorrow morning and the doors are shut, I can't say whether he is coming or not!

Changing the subject a little which, if you are a regular to my blog, you will know this is a bad habit of mine. Little'un FINALLY learned how to ride her bike
without stabilizers this Sunday afternoon, it was a used bike her cousin gave her (as she got a new one for her Birthday) unfortunately the back tyre was quite worn down. By Sunday evening the tyre had gone completely and the inner tube had bulged out and burst.

Well, tears like a tsunami!!!

Her Dad promised to call for a new tyre on his way home from work the next day (Monday), I rang him at work to check he had taken the tyre size before leaving for work, which of course he hadn't and he said he was too busy to get one anyway.

More tears flowed!!!

So I took Little Miss Tsunami straight to the cycle shop myself after school and, typically, ended up coming home with not only a new inner tube but TWO new tyres (they only had black and she didn't want a white one on the front and a black one on the back!), TWO new rubber hand grips, a light for the front and a brand new helmet that has a red flashing light on the back of it!!!!!!
Am I a soft touch or what? Guess what she wants for Christmas.........A NEW BIKE!!!!!!!

Anyway, back to Somerset, I hope to do a post with pics when I return, I can't wait to see what the Gremlins float is going to be this year as that Ghost Ship one looks fabulous on the vid clip.
So, until next week, I hope you all have a great week and will be checking in on you all when I get back to see what I have missed.
Bye for now. Loads of Hugs.

UPDATE...........WEDNESDAY 7th NOVEMBER (P.M.)
Surprise, surprise, Neeza says he can't come Thursday morning (even though he has known about it since August and that I had already booked and paid for the ticket!)
He HAS to go into work, but, he said if I pay for him to follow on Friday morning by train, he will come. He said he will pay me back for the tickets.
So guess what? I have booked and paid again, this time for a train ticket. Am I stupid?
Still don't know if he will come though, he says so, but we will have to wait until Friday when we go to the station to meet him!!!
I Don't Know
UPDATE.........FRIDAY 8th NOVEMBER (A.M.)
YES!!!!
I AM stupid!!!!!
We went to pick him up Friday at the station and on the way, got a call that he hadn't got the train!!!!
He then said he would be getting a later train and would ring when he arrived.
UPDATE........FRIDAY 8th NOVEMBER (P.M.)
He didn't ring!!!
I rang him later that evening, to be told "I wasn't bothered about the carnival anyway, I'll come tomorrow morning on the 7 o'clock train".
UPDATE.......SATURDAY 9th NOVEMBER (P.M.)
GUESS WHAT?!.............He hasn't come again!!!!!!!!!!!
Worst part about it, is he has my bank card as he needed it to collect the ticket from the station and I am now left unable to get any money!!!! Thank goodness I am staying at my Brother's and not in a hotel or I would be really in the s**t!!!!!
STUFF HIM!!!!!!!!
I have done enough crying!

I would rather him have said straight from the beginning that he wasn't going to come, than lie to me and make me believe FOUR TIMES that he was still going to come.

The carnival was fantastic, I am still down in Somerset on my Brother's computer and will do a post about it when I get back.
Maybe after that, I will do a post about divorce!
Until my next post, I bid you all goodbye. Hugs to all.

I know what you are going through. I have bought my son a new bike every year since he could ride. He is 14 now and could care less about the one he has now, but he is not going to get a new one. Maybe I can go get him some handle bar covers and he will never notice that it is not a new bike, HE HE HE HE HE

OK, I done being stupid for now, I hope you had fun at the carnival and I can't wait to see pictures too.
