NEW YEAR
Howdy folks,
How's New Year going with you all?
Little'un is now back at school. Yipeeeee! Every time she puts her new Nintendo DS down, I grab it. Sorry now I didn't get the other one by mistake now, I'm hooked!
It's freezing cold here but no sign of snow yet which upsets Little'un, she's dying for it to snow!
Got a brilliant prezzie off my big Bruv, it's a DVD-ROM with every issue of 'MAD' magazine on it dating back to the 1950's. That's why I haven't been blogging lately, spending my time reading 'MAD' or playing on Little'uns Nintendo. You wouldn't believe I am going to be 50, YES 50! This May, I'm just a big kid.
Fifty sounds too old! Then again, once you reach this time of life, age just becomes a silly number, it doesn't mean anything, I sort of feel no age at all, just know that I don't feel like that number, I'm just me, not me of a cetain age if you can understand that. (I'm waffling aren't I? Guess it's my age! He, he.)
Well, I'm trying to talk my Lil' Sis into starting a blog at the moment, she is real good at art so I said why not do some pics and I'll stick them on a blog, being unemployed and on the sick, it will give her something to do in her spare time, not that she has much spare time what with always helping Mum and Dad with their day to day life in general and walking her German Shepherd rescue dog for miles every day but when she does have time, it would keep her occupied rather than sitting alone in her diddy flat.
Anyway, I am going to have a think about a meme that Graham has done and might just have a go at it myself, as not much else is happening here at the moment.
Decided to keep working on Neeza about moving down South. Good grief I'm stubborn! I don't give up easily, I'll eventually wear him down. He, he.
That's about it, told you not much was happening.
Bye for now.

Imput comment on yesterday it is gone ??Wondered where down South was?
The 1950s isn’t that long ago: I was born in the 1940s. I hope you’re enjoying all of those MAD issues—I would be.
I hope you sister takes up blogging. The more bloggers there are, the better the world is.
Now you can go back to reading MAD and playing with the Nintendo.

I WANT THAT DVD!!! That is so awesome...I was a MAD addict when I was a kid (ancient history). That must be wild. I'd be doing nothing but reading all the old issues. What a great gift!!!
Your as old as you feel. which makes me 10 on a good day and 199 on a bad day!
Have a great Weekend AZZY
Si, What a great pic! Thankyou.

Sandy,
Down South is South of England, my Brother lives down there, in Somerset, there is a map showing where I am to where Somerset is on one of my previous posts. It's lovely down there, beautiful countryside and scenery which being from a bustling town up here, I don't get to see much of and the pace of life down there is much slower and calmer than racing round at a hundred miles an hour up here! Also, the people have time to stop and talk with each other. My Brother's neighbours down there have spoken to me more over the years than my own neighbours! I would love to move but Neeza is your typical 'I were born an bred up t'North so I'll stay up t'North!!!!!'
Mind you, I would JUMP at the chance of living in Florida more if I ever thought he would move!!!
Been there three times now, everyone is SO nice and friendly the weather is fantastic and I adore Disney and Epcot. I'll have to do a post about my holidays there.
Keep well.
Love Azzy.
