MY BEST FRIEND'S VISIT!!!!!!
WOW................Guess what happened today!!!! (Friday 1st February 2008)
I was sat here at my computer getting the Big Bang tag up to date, proof reading it and letting Mel know he had doubled up on a couple of numbers and actually had more on his list than he thought, when.........................
WOOF!, WOOF!.
Neeza, who was downstairs at the time, as he is off today due to a hospital appointment for an ECG, shouted "Did you hear that!!!!!" I shouted that I did and that I knew she would still be around.
Neeza being Neeza said "I didn't know our neighbour had a dog" I said "None of them have!" he then asked if it scared me because of what we had heard and I replied "Why should you be scared of your own dog coming back to say hello?" He thinks I am mad but he heard it too! (It sounded exactly like her). Spooky or what?
Neeza didn't hear me but I said "Hi, Sal babe" back to her. I'm now sat here grinning from ear to ear, I knew it! I knew it! she is still with us. What a fantastic experience!

I hope to hear that you have rescued a dog or 2 or 3 somewhere who need a special place - millions a year put to death.I love that she came to you-My cat died Sunday and I cannot get over it ..this will help me,,sk
i beati,
I don't care if everyone reading my blog thinks I'm insane, I heard what I heard! It was wonderful!!!
Neeza has come round to the idea of another ickle doggie so we are going to have a look at some this weekend Little'un is over the moon and has a list of names that would go round the earth and back twice! Seems I have to cut them all out, fold them all and put into boxes (one box for males, one for females) we shake the boxes thoroughly then the three of us then each pick a name from each box, next we put our choices into other boxes and Little'un will pick one of each sex so whether we get a male or female, she will have a name ready. (Phew!)
:)
Hey Azz, nice to know you heard her again :)
I've tagged you for a meme, check out my blog for details...
You are sooooo not insane. It is truly a wonderful moment! I completely agree that our relatives and pets watch over us. I know when my Grandad is around me, I feel his warmth and his heart.
The name selecting thing sounds fun. I can remember us naming our hamster (our relatives gave him to us when we were visiting them in Pontyland nr Newcastle). We called it Ponty Mython Nelson Stump (it only had three legs...lol!). He was a dear friend to us for a few years - and I still remember him fondly now!
Your new dog is going to be sooo lucky to be coming into such a warm family like yours. Just warn him/her about the flying fishtanks....LMAO!!!!!
And just remember that he/she (I can't bring myself to call a dog an 'it') will always have a doggy friend to watch over them.
It is no surprise that your previous dog came back to visit. I would if I have a mum like you!!!!!!
Warmest wishes from your friend always ~ Graham xx
Ponty Mython Nelson Stump!!!!
LMAO!!!!!
:))
I believe you Azzi! Why not, it is easier to believe than to proove it wasn't. Dogs can be closer than members of the family and it sure made you feel good. Yeah coming back to say listen I'm ok and sorry you are missing me....
OK, I think I am laughing at the name Ponty Mython Nelson Stump. I get Ponty Mython and also Stump but I am confused about Nelson. OK, ... LMAO
I am not sure where I am on this but I would never make fun of someone about ir, especially about their pet. I have had that same feeling before were I was sure someone or something was right there. I am glad you had the visit. Good luck with the new member to the family but don't be rigid. If when you see the dog a name just jumps out at you, consider abandoning the name you choose. Sometimes it is almost their destiny.
I will give you an example but know this is only a nickname for the dog and it was given to him after he had been in the family for some time. He is a small dog that is predominently white except the entire head is black. What was the nickname? Tarhead.
Have a great week. Thanks for visiting.
Cool, ghost dog! Hardly anybody has one of those!
