HOW COME?
My Lil'Sis
Threw a couple of questions at me today. It really got me thinking!
She asked....
How come almost every animal on the planet can swim by just nature and instinct, yet we humans have to be taught?
New born babies seem to manage just fine without lessons!
Is it because we are told we can't swim as we get a little older and therefore believe we can't until we have lessons?
The power of belief!
Hmmmmm!
She then went on to say...
Does that mean we shouldn't believe what we are told about anything?
In which case, take for example, The Law of Gravity.
The Law of Gravity must be so, as nobody can tell an apple or a leaf whether or not to fall to the ground. But, if we decide not to believe it, will we be able to float or fly? (Like our dreams seem to portray on many occasion)
Hmmmmm!
Think I'll have to pop over to The Great and Wonderous Baba Doodlius http://doodlius.blogspot.com/ and put these questions to him.

I just love these types of questions..... the type of question you can ponder on for hours over several glasses of port...lol!
Oh, and you can tell your sis that the law of gravity is true... what goes up, does come down... I proved that a couple of years ago LMAO!!!!!!!
Big hugs ~ Graham x

That's a really good point. Hell, come to think of it, I'm part of that paradox. As an infant I was indeed a member of the water babies class then again took lessons as a kid. Weird stuff... thanks for passing on the questions. I'll have to think them over for a while ;).
Hope all is well!
Have a special weekend.sandy
When I entered seminary, the first lesson that was stressed was “question everything.”
I'm all for pondering such questions, especially if there's port!
