SUPERSTAR!!!!!!!

I'm soooooooo proud!!!!


I have a SUPERSTAR for a Daughter!!!
Little'Un entered into a talent competition at school, all her own idea, she decided what to sing and she rehearsed every night for the past week or so.
She stood on the stage in front of the whole school and sang 'The Sound of Music' without any music!
All the other singers had backing tracks and there were 28 acts in all, singers, dancers, clowns and magic acts.
Unfortunately it was only for the kids so parents weren't allowed to go and watch and due to stupid school rules nobody could video it!


BUT......SHE WON!!!!


FIRST PLACE!!!!


She got a 'St. John's Got Talent Winner' certificate (see pic) and a massive art and craft set as a prize.


I can't stop smiling!!!


I have promosed to buy her a microphone which is what she has always wanted so she can sing to her heart's content and I will be taking her for a day trip to 'Eureka' in Halifax, a hands-on science museum in the next few weeks as another treat.


I couldn't have done anything like that, I have no confidence at all.


Seems she was so good, her teacher has asked her to join the choir and to sing at another teachers wedding in August.


I'm going to burst!!! I am so proud of her!!!
