VIRTUAL DINNER PARTY MEME!

Once again, the famous (Devil evil, yet very nice with it) Graham of http://grahamettridge.blogspot.com/ has thrown one of his memes at me. I'll either have to find a better hiding place or learn to duck quicker!
Anyway, it seems I have to arrange a virtual dinner party.
I will need.....
1) A party theme.
2) A guest list. (It can be anyone, past, present, real or fictional).
3) A starter.
4) A main course.
5) A sweet.
6) The kind of entertainment I would have.
7) A rundown on how the evening went.
And finally......
8) Any party nightmares I may have experienced.

(The party theme is due to the state of my house at present, the flood, no carpet so bare concrete, broken heating therefore no hot water, broken shower, and finally a leaking pipe somewhere under the floorboards in the back bedroom causing my dining ceiling to have a frightening bulge hanging down!!!)

1) Party theme would be........

A House Design Party.
House 3 Lamp Chair Couch Candelabra Vase Mirror Bed 2 Chair 4

2) Guests would be.......

The 'DIY SOS' team, Alan Titchmarsh (Groundforce) and of course GRAHAM ETTRIDGE!.
Gardener Mopping Construction Worker Sweeping

3) Starter would be......

A very, very quick one.
Chips Cookies Donut Potato Chip Peanuts Pie Chocolate

4) Main course.......

Something they can eat whilst on the move, designing, decorating, refurnishing and gardening.
Hotdog Pizza Slice Burger 2 Hot Dog 2 French Fries 2 Salad Ketchup Mustard

5) Sweet........

Anything they wanted, as a reward for a job well done.
Eating Pie Drinking Red Wine Chugger

6) Entertainment.......

Me watching everyone design, paint, decorate and totally re-do the whole house and garden would be the best entertainment ever.
Painter Vacuuming Making The Bed Smiley Hedge Gardening

7) Rundown on the evening.......

Sliding down gently onto my new suite, glass of wine in hand, gazing at my beautifully decorated home and lovely garden would be my idea of heaven, I don't know about everyone else, but I had a brilliant time!
Thumbs Up Clapping HandsThank You

8) Party nightmare.......

That all this had been just a dream!

Hahahahahahaha! Excellent response! It made me laugh sooo much. Very original... and I like the concept of a "bring a brush" party. I'm not so good with a hammer or anything, but am a great co-ordinator and deligator (ask my staff at work...lol!).

LOL!!!! Great post... thanks for completing your homework A+++

Graham,
I have the roller and paint ready whenever you are!

ebezp,
Graham had restricted me as regards to my amount of guests or you would have been invited.
You could still come anytime you like and do some decorating.

Invoice for £100! It will have to go onto my increasing list of
debts. I have too many other things that need sorting out to pay for first, which is why I had the dinner party!

As I have said to Graham, there is a roller and some paint ready!
:)

I find beer and pizza does nicely for redecorating parties.
