DAY AT THE FAIR
Hi there,
Just a quick blog about our Sunday outing. There was a little fair in our local park today (Sunday) best thing was, everything was free!!
Hubs of course didn't bother coming with us as per usual, it's always been just me and Little'Un!
There was a bouncy castle, face painting, an educational bus, padded sumo wrestler outfits so you could have a wrestle, a big blow up thingy where you had to try and knock each other off a platform with a large inflatable club, some poor young woman in the stocks you could throw wet sponges at, and loads of other stalls.
Unfortunately it wasn't just the woman in the stocks that got soaked, the heavens opened, lightning flashed and thunder roared but everyone still seemed to have a good time. The weather cleared up by later in the afternoon but we had set off for home by then.

I had taken Little'Un and next door neighbour's little boy we all had a great time.
Take a look at the pic of the two of them after having their faces painted, Little'Un's mouth has healed now thank goodness. I'm surprised the paint was still on though after all the sweets, hotdogs and drinks!
Soon it will be the six weeks holidays, hoping to be able to afford to take her on day trips here and there.
We will, of course, be going down to Somerset to stay at Big Bruv's sometime during the holidays and are going on a trip to London with him and my Sister-in-Law to see a west end show (this was my fiftieth Birthday present from them), Little'Un has picked which she wants to see (The Sound of Music) and we have all agreed we all want to see it too, she has got her dress, shoes and jewellery already sorted for wearing to the theatre, I'm surprised she hasn't packed her case already! Really looking forward to it!
Well, that's it for today, the weather is terrible rain, rain, thunder, rain, and surprise, surprise, more rain!!! It's still very warm though so you either get soaked trying to stay cool or cover up to stay dry but are boiling hot!
Have a great week.
Love Azzy

Yup, you are correct... the holiday season is nearly upon us. Going to London is going to be sooo cool! You will love the West End! and the Sound of Music will be so memorable. A truly deserved present!
I hope you are well and okay... I am truly thinking of you lots. I wish you and Little'un so much happiness for the future. Oh, and make sure you have plenty of scrumpy when you are in Somerset!!! ooooh arrr ooooh arrrr ooooh arrrrr.....lolololololol!!!!
Big hugs ~ Mr E xxxxxxxx
These two look like they had a great time. Their faces all painted up makes me smile as I know the excitement my kids get out of going to local fair. Little'Un had a decent fall. I hope she is alright now and it hasn't scared. Good luck with the council fixing the road too.
PS: the sound of music is my all time favourite, so Little'Un's taste in musicals rocks!!
Glad you are back. Your Little'Un is very cute. Reminds me of my brother who is about to turn 5 this week.
