LITTLE'UN HAD A FALL
Look what happened the other day!
Little'Un, me and Lil'Sis all went to visit Grandma and walking home Little'Un tripped, (it wasn't through not looking where she was going, she wasn't messing about either, just walking by my side) there was a large dip in the ground followed directly by a raised grid, her foot went down the dip, she lost her balance, her other foot caught on the grid and she fell face first onto the kerb edge. Luckily her mouth was shut at the time (a very rare event!) or her teeth could have been knocked out which was my first thought on seeing all the blood!
I have written and sent pictures to our local councillor showing the state of the road and the mess it made of her face, I'm not expecting anything to be done about it though! I feel like suing them!!!
I also wrote to our local newspapers to thank some teenage lads who dropped their bikes immediately and rushed into the local shop to get tissues for mopping up all the blood from her face and from where it poured all down her hands.
Poor little mite couldn't eat for three days, everything had to be liquidised and drank through a straw. What a trooper though, she still went to school the very next day and was on stage in a little play in her assembly, she struggled to talk properly (sounded a bit like she had just come from the dentist) but didn't miss any of her lines and said them as loud and clear as she could even though she later told me how much it had hurt to do it!
I am SO proud of her!
She's fine now though and back to her non-stop chattering.
AS I SAID PREVIOUSLY, NOTHING WILL BE DONE ABOUT IT AND NO COMPENSATION WILL BE OFFERED! (SHE NOW HAS A SCARRED TOP LIP FOR LIFE!!!! THANK YOU OLDHAM CONCIL!!!!!)

Sandy,
Hope you are well.
Max was more interested in the girls who came to help, they had CHIPS! (Fries in the USA).
Lil'Sis had to drag him away from them!
I'll pop over for the award now thanks.

Poor thing but at least it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I hate it when I see the condition our pavements are in, many years ago my Nan tripped over cracked and rised paving and ended up breaking her wrist, dislocating her elbow and breaking her glasses and needing a couple stitches. My parents were fuming and my Dad promptly wrote to the council complaining of the condition of the pavement which they had sorted out pretty quickly, they even compensated my Nan with a few grand too for what she went through.
Hope the wounds clear up soon.
Sarah.
Coolgirlsar,
I have written and sent photos of Little'Uns face and the hole where it happened but I am not expecting much, if I am lucky, they will fill in the hole so nobody else has a fall but I am expecting nothing moneytary wise.
By the way, she is fine now.

I am sooooo sorry to hear about the accident. I do hope little'un is feeling better now!
Azzy,
That's what my parents just wanted too and were really surprised with the compensation, it could have been so much worse for your litte'un and if not fixed for someone else. Glad to hear she is all well now.
Sarah.
